행복한 명작 읽기 시리즈는 기초가 약한 영어 초급자나 초,중,고 학생들이 보다 즐겁고 효과적으로 명작들을 읽으며 독해력을 키울 수 있도록 구성한 프로그램이다. 5단계로 나뉘어 있어 수준에 맞는 작품으로 골라 읽을 수 있으며 전문번역 대신 해석을 돕는 힌트를 제시하여 독자가 스스로 힌트를 중심으로 해석이 가능하도록 했다. 미국인 성우가 직접 녹음한 전문 CD를 수록하였으며 올컬러 그림을 수록하여 학습 능률을 높였다.
